I have an inclination towards natural Ayurvedic products and there are few brands which are always on my wish list for their natural ingredients. Forest essentials is one such brand. Today I am sharing with you my experience of using the Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream.

Forest Essential is a cruelty free brand which has all the goodness of nature in all the products.  Visit any of their stores and their sales team is so courteous and helpful in getting you the right product that you feel absolutely pampered!!

I have been looking out for a night cream for myself and was not sure if the “Teenage” cream would work for me. However, I still thought of giving it a try and finding out how it works for my skin.

Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream

What Forest Essentials says

According to the Kashyap Samhita, an ancient scripture of Ayurveda, a woman is known as Yuwati from 13 years onwards. Kumkumadikeram night cream is a highly effective night cream which contains powerful Ayurvedic preparations of Kumkumadikeram and Manikya (Ruby) Bhasma which helps to lighten pigmentation and clarify the skin. Renowned as Padmaraga or the Red lotus, Manikya Bhasma has miraculous skin rejuvenating properties. Sweet Almond Oil, Desi Ghee and Shea Butter penetrate into deep layers of the skin at night, and keep the skin healthy and nourished.

Packaging

The packaging of the Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream is truly luxurious. The night creams are packed in an outer cardboard box with beautiful prints. The box is very strong and the actual product jar is fixed inside it securely.

The Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream comes in a beautiful glass jar with a golden lid with “FOREST ESSENTIALS” printed on the lid. There is a plastic safety cover inside to prevent the cream from leakage. The golden lid is screw on type cap which makes the tub leak-proof.

It is priced for INR 1975/- and you get 30 gms of product.

You can buy it from Nykaa or Amazon.

Texture and Formula

The Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream has a light orange tinge and has a strong ayurvedic smell felt like cardamom smell to me.  It may be strong for very sensitive noses however, I loved the smell completely.

It has thick and creamy texture . The thick formula due to its natural ingredients like shea butter and clarified butter. However it applies quite easily and absorbs into your skin and the smell lingers.

So if you have a problem with the smell, you may not like it much.

How much it worked for me?

I use  very small amount of the cream and massage it on my face and neck each night after washing and toning my face. The effect of the cream is a soft and bright face each morning. I noticed improvement in first few days, and after around a month now I am really liking how good my skin looks and feels. My face had a radiant glow, and has no dryness.

Overall Thoughts and Rating

The Forest Essentials Kumkumadi Teenage Night Cream is probably just named “teenage”. It is suitable to all ages and all skin types. I loved the formula and fragrance. I know it is a pricey deal but once in a while your skin needs that extra pampering. So if you are looking for something to pamper your skin and indulge in some luxuries skincare you can invest in this one.

I would rate it 4.5 on 5
