Nykaa Eyem Black Kajal Review

Hey guys,

I have recently bought a lot of eye products from nykaa as they have been dropping products like mini missiles every 15 days.

So today I will be reviewing Nykaa’s eyem black kajal. If you guys wish to see what all I got from Nykaa then you can see my youtube video here.

Packaging  –

This kajal comes with a pink outer packaging. It has the usual pink colour  outer box that nykaa’s products have. It somehow reminds me of holi…you know, all the colour and all…it looks like gulaal to me. ?

The backside of the products has all the details of the product and description of the formula.

Price

It is priced at INR 375/-   for  1.2gm of product

The kajal pencil looks really impressive to me, it is a jet black matte pencil with “Nykaa eyem black kajal” written on it in silver.
The overall look of the kajal makes me feel it is going to be good.
This comes with a sharpener. (Yeahh this is a pencil, so you have to sharpen it )I wish it could have been a retractable kajal pencil sigh!!!!! ? That is the only drawback I felt the product has.
It is quite like Plum’s nature studio kajal and Loreal silkissme eyeliner. The slught different is that the Plum nature studio kajal is a on a dryer end and Loreal silkissme liner is extremely creamy, and thus Nykaa’s eyem black kajal is a perfect in between in comparisom to both the other kajal’s. I have done a quick swatch for you’ll to see how this Nykaa’s eyem black looks side by side to both the other products.

Texture and pigment –

Believe me when I tell you that since my college days I stopped applying kajal to my waterline because no kajal formula as good enough for my eyes, as I have very watery eyes. I ended up looking like a panda after sometime of the application. The kajal used to smudge out of my water line making me look crazy.
But the texture of this kajal is outstanding guys, it glides on effortlessly and you don’t even need to apply much pressure. The pigment is amazing, in one swipe it gives the blackest of black colour that looks so beautiful on the waterline.
However, I was too skeptical to try this out as a eyeliner on the eyelids as I like a sturdy liner to use as a eyeliner. Hence its a big NO!!  from me to use this as a eyeliner.

Staying power –

Watery eyes? You too become a panda after applying any kajal on your waterline? Fear not, this one is just for you. I had seen people raving about plum’s nature studio kajal, that how it was long lasting and that it doesn’t budge for a good 8 hours, sadly it din’t do anything for me (so now you know how watery my eyes are ?) but trust me this one stayed a good 7-8 hours on my waterline without smudging or spreading out. (For once I din’t have panda eyes ???). Hence this has a good staying power of 7-8 hours on me. This does transfer a bit but it doesn’t effect the pigment of the kajal. It is smudge-proof and water-resistant.

Colour pay-off –

The colour- payoff is very high. I like how smooth it is and how in one swipe you get the black pigmented colour. It is quite surprising for me to see such intense colour.

 Buy it here –

Overall thoughts –

To summarize my total love for this kajal. I would highly recommend this girls!! It is  a black pigmented and greated textured kajal, which is like a dream come true for me. Super- smooth, smudgeproof and light weight. It doesn’t irritate your eyes or make them watery.
I absolutely will repurchase this one.

Ratings –

I would give this one 5/5 ratings. (Drumrollssss??).
Thats it for this review guys, will be back with a new blog post soon.?
Lots of love and hugs to you all.?
Stay fabulous and classy.?
