It is very common for people to think to Let It Out is showing your vulnerability to others and hence will weaken your stand on society. For years, it has been normalized that vulnerability is sign of weakness. This is one of the many major reasons why all of us try to bottle up our feelings. We try to keep our issues safely guarded within ourselves thinking nobody could hurt us if we keep our mouths shut.

Selfcare- Let It Out

But does bottling up things really help people ? No!! Nobody has told bottling and keeping things for themselves has helped them ever. Holding back emotions is always considered to be a sign of bravery and strength but in reality, it is definitely not the truth.  The true strength lies in opening up and letting out your emotions.

Why do we say so? When you hold back your emotions can do more damage to your own well being personally and psychology. If all these gets affected, do you think you will be able to lead a happy life? can you be happy by living in denial?

Letting out your emotions is such natural process. It helps heal and move forward with life. However, when you hold back your emotions thinking that is something brave you are making an absolute mistake. That is because when we bottle up and suppress our emotions, our mind wants to distract itself on some other things to basically help live in denial. We go in search of solace from external factors like Alcohol, drugs, overeating, over spending money on things you absolutely don’t need and things like that, which are not good for us.

I would hence urge you to become that brave warrior who is not insecure about being vulnerable and opens about your feelings because it is not a sign of weakness but a trait of a brave and strong warrior who is more concerned about their mental well being and sound enough to understand the process of healing and strength.

Don’t hold back, let it out for your progress!!
