Unplugging yourself from the digital world to have your own good time is crucial for your mental health and peace of mind. A plethora of technological development has come into being. It has impacted everyone for good as well as for not good things.

When you go out and observe what is happening around you, you will observe 9 out of 10 people engrossed on their mobile phones or other electronic gadgets. Electronic gadgets have almost become a part of every human‘s body and being. Even people dwelling in rural areas and toddlers are so engrossed with the gadgets. We do not mean to say people shouldn’t get updated according to digital developments. We need to strike a balance between our digital life and non-digital life.
When you are so engrossed in gadgets, your screen time is increasing and it ought to do a lot of damage to your body’s health. Because of the overuse of technology, the face to face, human-to-human connection is affected. If you take any household these days, everyone in the family has their own mobile phones. Everyone is giving more attention to their phone than their family members despite being in the same room at times.
We tend to gain a lot of friends and acquaints from the online platform which is actually a good thing but we should also focus on befriending some real people. As much as these online platforms can be interesting but also they can be toxic as well. Let’s plan and take a break.
Try noting the time how long can you go without picking up your phone, without checking your email or social media platforms? It might seem really impossible because we are so dependant on our mobile phones to even check on our period dates. But once you unplug yourself from the digital world, you will realize what you have missing out on in real life. Even the smallest of things can bring about so much good to our mental health.
Let’s unplug ourselves to spend some quality time with ourselves and our loved ones without any external interruption.
