We all have our ups and downs but what makes us stand out from others is the way we handle our lows. First of all, we will try to make our inner self feel better and boost it up. In order to do that there are several ways. This is something that has worked for me. Whenever you feel low, write Compliments and Positive Feedbacks.
Selfcare - Write Compliments and Positive Feedbacks
We all are good in one way or the other. We all have our own talents and abilities. When we are in a bad mood or feeling low, we tend to forget our positives. That’s when you need to take some time for yourself and write down all the compliments you have ever received in life.
When you feel like you are having a bad day, take up that note and look into the compliments and positive feedback you have received. That will immensely help you get motivated. Isn’t that simple?
These compliments do not necessarily have to be big and credential worthy or something. It can be a simple compliment like someone might have told you, that you cooked a specific dish really well or you might have helped your kid with the school project about which your child was extremely happy. It can be anything but the point is for you to see how good, capable and efficient you are.
So from now on, make it a point to write down all your compliments and positive feedback and go through it whenever you feel like doing it. You can feel your morale being lifted up by gazillion times and your desire to work more motivated will fill every bloodstream of your body. Isn’t this the kind of positivity you want to feel and endure in life?
