I Promise to Keep Learning as a Blogger - Blogchatter Commandments

Learning is a survival skill. Actively learning is a need to flourish in any field and if you’ve chosen blogging or the digital world it is no different. You simply cannot escape learning because learning is what will help you grow and achieve things that you thought were impossible for your abilities. The technological updates are drastic and we are a community that works alongside these technologies and it’s important to keep up with the updates!

By learning, I don’t mean to stick just with technology about also focus on overall learning. When you have the knowledge about everything around you can take a stronger stand on any issues. As someone who writes, you do not know when you will actually find your inspiration to write your next blog post for that matter.

Keep your eyes, ears and mind open to any kind of information and analyse what you’ve procured. This will help you in finding the next big topic you have been waiting for to come to your doorstep. Okay, now you might feel like, what is this Kapila, I have finished my formal education and I’m a very reputed blogger already and you’re asking me to learn? Do you want me to learn at this age? There is no age for learning. Your growth will stop when you stop learning. All you need is a mindset. Everything takes time and practice to set into a routine.

Self-learning for uplifting your skills and career is more driving and motivating. How I’m telling this strongly? It is because, unlike in schools and colleges, you don’t have to study for the sake of marks but for your own self. Creating a schedule and following it for your own growth. Draw up a schedule and start following it. Start gradually. You will not be able to learn everything by sitting one whole night in front of your laptop.

If your next question is what do I learn?

Think about something you are really passionate about. Something you might’ve been interested in, for eg: photography, but couldn’t go for it because of your commitments. Now is the time to rekindle it. Take up an online course.

Does money bother you ?

There are plenty of online sources through which you could learn almost anything and everything for free. Some websites even provide you with a certificate. Some might let you learn the skill and charge only for the certificate. In today’s world, you can do anything with the help of your computer or a mobile phone.

The main thing here is, keep learning. Only learning could help you on the long run.
