As soon as we think of creating our mark on social of any sort, the first and foremost advice with which we are bamboozled is producing good contents consistent without compromise. Another important point is usually is being responsive.

Writing a blog post and providing wonderful and interesting content isn’t the only thing we should concentrate on. Even I did the same mistake when I started out blogging. I will be more concerned with coming with interesting and read-worthy content that I spend most of my time invested in. Once I click the publish button, I tend to forget all about the particular content and start focusing next content which I’m due to post. This is one mistake I don’t want you people to do.

Providing good content on regular basis is important to attract people to your site but the most important thing to focus on here creating a community. For me, a number of followers had never been an issue and that has never fascinated me. Even if I have 5 people reading my content regularly and apply whatever tips I give them in their real life and in turn if they have any more ideas to share with me, that’s more than enough for me. Because this will give an enormous amount of satisfaction not because someone had read my content but whereas I created a community that can reach out to me if they are in doubt or facing any issues. This is what matters the most to me and that’s the main reason why I call my followers my family.

How do we become more Responsive?

Well, social media is no longer the place where you come just for entertainment, people are learning, earning, inspiring and lot more. So, if you’re an influencer, you definitely tend to inspire someone way or the other and these people since they are just starting their venture on social media or blogging and they might have lots of doubts regarding it. Since you’re one of their inspiration and favourite blogger, they would tend to come to you with their queries. And that’s is when you step up to help your community. You cannot just ignore the numerous unread messages sitting on your inbox thinking that you’re a big shot or don’t have the time to answer the question of some random person. You should take up some responsibility and address each and every one of their queries because they’re after you’re community.

Create more engaging contents. Don’t create one way contents where you keep on preaching but rather include your followers as well. Ask them certain questions and tell them to comment or DM their answers. Now that they have started responding to your interactive content, start responding to every single comment of your followers.

If you read some good content on the internet, feel free to appreciate them and spread the word of the beautiful content. It’s something like giving back to the community.

And treat your followers every once in a while. For example let’s take you’ve hit your first mile stone of gaining 1k followers on your Instagram or blog then host a giveaway. Giveaways are the most interesting things to do, it will increase your followers engagement and interests. And it is also another way to expand your community.

I hope you will also shed the idea of just provided one sided content but rather start becoming more interactive and responsive in the upcoming future.

Initially, it might seem like a tedious task and very intimidating. However, once you start doing it you will understand how much fun and satisfying it is. You will know what are you missing out in your blogging life.

Let’s be more responsive and create a strong and wonderful community through which we all can grew together as family!
