Today I am gonna review yet another new launch by Nykaa. Nykaa is on the roll and is launching new products like anything. I am finding it difficult to cope up with them. They recently launched yet another lip product, their’s Paintstix. These are creamy lipsticks with high pigments and to know more about them keep on reading.
Packaging
The packaging is very pretty and colourful. The outer packaging of the lipstick is standard Nykaa pink-gulaal-gives-me-holi-feels kind of packaging again ?. The front has the name of the product written in black and the product description is on the backside. The shade name and number is mentioned on the outer packaging whereas the actual lipstick doesn’t have the name of the shade primted on the sticker, which is a drawback.The inner lipstick looks cylindrical in shape and the name is written in black. The lipstick has normal closure, which is quite secure and sturdy.
These are priced at ₹ 425. for 3.5 gms product.

Shades
Nykaa has launched a total of shades in this range and they ahve quite a lot of shade variety. Varing from pinks,rusts and purples and much more.
I have picked up six beautiful shades from this range which are,
1) Chick Flick Pink
It is a beautiful pink with a sheen to it. Even if you blott it down the sheen doesn’t fade and looks quite flattering on medium to dark skintones.
2) Peaches and Creams
This one is very pretty pink based peach shade. I really liked this one, although this is more flattering on fair to medium skintone. As it has a tendency to wash you off if you have darker skintone.
3) Tender Rose -
This is a very subtle pink shade. Totally comparable to the colour of rose. Suitable for light to medium skin tone.
4) Cool Girl Nude -
It is a very cool toned brown nude. It is subtle and simple, good for everyday shade. Suitable for light to medium skintones
5) No Chill Orange -
Its a orange shade. Flatly orange, but it does look a little red on fair skin. Suitable for all skintones.
6) Nude Spice -
This one is much more darker than cool girl nude. Hence ,this is very brown toned nude. Suitable for all skintones.
Pigmentation and Longetivity
The pigmentation of these lipsticks is good but not that good since these are extremely creamy, these are not as precise too.
It is not at all matte, instead it very creamy and thus very mosturising and comfortable on the lips. Since I am a matte lips lover, it was a bummer for me, but as i blotted it down it was looking as pretty as a matte lipstick. It doesn’t settle in the lines and doesn’t dry out your lips which is great as winters make your lips dry. If you wish to get a very matte look you can blot-off the access product and it will give you a matte finish without taking off the product.
These are not transfer-proof or water-proof.
However they do leave a good stain of colour on the lips. These stayed on my lips for not longer than 4 hour. I had to retouch a little bit once after a meal. Hence, these are comfortable, mosturising and quite long-lasting and I liked how they looked when matte.
Overall view
Over-all I would say, I was having high expectation from these lip paints but they turned out to be a okayish product for me, I will have to use them more and maybe then I will really say if i like them or not. The shades are stunning, the ones I picked were great for my skintone but not for my sister-in-law who is a dusky beauty. As many shades I chose were good for lighter skintone. The rest of the shades looked promising too and I feel they will look lovely on dark skintones.They were comfortable and had good pigmentation and they are very moisturising and creamy.
The only drawback I felt that the shades cannot be recognisable easily, as you have to pick up each lipstick and check the outer packaging to know the shades. As the shades are not mentioned on the inner lipstick packaging.

Thats all for this review guys. These lipsticks are great if you are person who doesn’t really like extreme matte lipsticks. But if you are a matte lipstick lover then this one is not for you,but you can surely work with these and make them matte.
