Nykaa has become a makeup brand now. It has a complete range of products available for us to try and experiment with our makeup and looks. I was hoping for probably the longest time that nykaa launches “Base Products” in their range and yes, my wish was fulfilled!! Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting and Hydrating Foundation - Review
Nykaa launched their liquid and cushion foundation. Since I have very dry skin I am more inclined toward liquid foundation and hence I picked Nykaa SKINgenius Scultping and Hydrating foundation to try and test it for you all.
It has been almost a month I have been trying this foundation and here is my take on it.

Packaging
The outer packaging of the foundation is a cardboard box with the usual colored print as in all Nykaa products. Inside the foundation comes in a sleek cream colored plastic bottle with a nozzle which is secured with black screw cap.
The nozzle to take the product out is quite wide and if you squeeze a little hard, it can get messy
Being a sleek bottle with screw cap it is travel friendly.

My Shade is 01 Pure Ivory which is a perfect match for my skin.
Formula
The foundation is quite thin and runny. It is not greasy and feels like a watery foundation.
Overall thoughts and Rating
The foundation is easily blendable and matched well to my skin tone. It gave me a dewy finish. It gave me a decent coverage but to have a flawless coverage I needed to layer it.
I have a dry skin so they hydrating factor helped in keeping the foundation in place for a good 3-4 hours. However, after a while it made my face look oily and I sweat on my face hence I needed to apply a compact for touchup.
I would give it 3.5/5

I like your end notes on the foundation. I have super dry skin and find that most foundations are great for the first couple hours and then I look terrible. This sounds like it would be great for a date night!
This is the first time I’m hearing of Nykaa. Perhaps it hasn’t reached these shores yet! I try not to wear foundation in the winter TBH because I slather tons of moisturizer on my face I feel like any makeup would slide right off lol. Nice to hear this foundation has a hydrating feature.
