My name is Kapila. I started blogging around 2 years ago . However, for the past 1.5 years blogging was only about writing for me. Until recently when I came across Blogchatter and got to know about MyFriendAlexa campaign.

What is #MyFriendAlexa
In simple one sentence “My Friend Alexa is a campaign run by Blogchatter to help you improve Alexa Rank for your website”.
What is Alexa Rank?
Alexa is a global ranking system that utilizes web traffic data to compile a rank to your website, the Alexa Rank.
What are my expectations
When I attended the first live session for #MyFriendAlexa campaign for 2018 the first myth busted for me was “Blogging is writing. ”
With the first session I understood that I am going to have lots of myths around blogging busted for me in this month.
In the first session itself, I got to know that 8 posts is good to improve your Alexa ranking significantly. With #MyFriendAlexa campaign. With the hope of doing these minimum posts on the blog for the month, I also expect I would get into the routine of writing posts.

I am hoping that I turn into a good reader and am able to read some great posts by bloggers. Blogchatter is going to send me a reading list.

The bloggers have been divided into DM groups for discussions, interactions. I have met a few bloggers in real life and have learnt alot. I think blogger’s community is the most encouraging community I have come across. Always ready to help and encouraging.
